JCW Impactalay Acoustic Matting

JCW Impactalay is a high-quality form of acoustic matting designed to offer a cost-effective and easily installed solution to combat impact noise. It is largely designed for use on concrete floors to help improve impact noise, however it could be used to reduce impact noise on timber floor constructions. When overlaid with T+G Chipboard, Impactalay could also be used under engineered wood floors.

Specification:

Impactalay is made using two acoustic layers – a 2.5mm polymeric mass barrier mat bonded to a 10mm reconstituted resilient chip foam core. The acoustic foam doesn’t harden or crumble, unlike some ‘Class O’ foams found in similar products.
