JCW Acoustic Deck 19 is a high quality MDF based resilient overlay shallow platform system designed to be used with Robust Standard Detail floor construction. It can be used with the following Robust standard Detail flooring types: E-FC-1, E-FC-2 and E-FS-1.

Acoustic Deck 19 is perfect for refurbishments where floor height is an issue, and the chipboard deck is ready to go for final floor installation, as well as being economical and easy to fit.

Description

Boards should be glued together and laid brickwork fashion with staggered joints, a perimeter foam edge strip should be fitted around the edge of each room and across the door threshold. The edge foam should then be folded down on to the acoustic flooring with the skirting board then sitting on the edge foam.

Flanking Transmission:

Acoustic noise can sometimes leak through adjacent walls, in a phenomenon known as flanking transmission. This product combined with Acoustic Tape (a flexible polyethylene seal) can help to cut this down.
